Alaska Guide Network

In partnership with the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The Alaska Guide Network brings together sport fishing guides and anglers to record catch and effort data across the state, filling data gaps related to fish abundance, species composition, and population health. By turning time on the water into meaningful data, the program aims to create a secure, long-term dataset that informs research, supports responsible management decisions, and sustains healthy sport fisheries. The pilot of this project is running in 2026.
